About Your Dentist

Dr. Perkins received his dental training at the University of Minnesota school of dentistry. He joined Mosaic Dental in 1989 following 4 years serving in the United States Navy dental corps. Dr. Perkins has been active in our community as both a scout master for over 10 years and as a member of the Eagan Rotary club. In addition to community service, he provides dental care at the Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul and has made several dental mission trips to Honduras.

Dr. Perkins enjoys skiing and is an avid triathlete. He and his wife, Barb, have two sons and live in Edina.

Dr. Blahnik is a native Midwesterner born in Wausau, WI and raised in Burnsville, MN. At a young age, Ian aspired to become a dentist, and through many years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance, he was able to make his dream reality. He attended the University of Minnesota for three years and continued his journey at the University of Iowa where he received his DDS degree. Shortly after achieving his academic goals, Dr. Blahnik came back to Minnesota to start his dental career at Metro Dental Care in Roseville. His philosophy of patient education has earned him trust among patients. Through his passion for patient care, community improvement, and education, it is no surprise that Dr. Blahnik has become a local success story in the dental community. Dr. Blahnik is a well-rounded dentist with notable experience in restorative treatments such as fillings and crown work. In addition, he is currently expanding his arsenal of expertise by pursuing his interests in extractions and Invisalign treatments. Outside the dental practice, Dr. Blahnik enjoys playing guitar, reading books, and traveling the world, but above all, he loves watching the age long rivalry of the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers!
